Elevator Controls Corporation is looking for a Technical Support Agent to offer phone support in the elevator industry. Our Technical Support Team answers inbound technical and customer service calls relating to our Elevator Control Panels that may deal with instructions on installation or trouble shooting on a variety of issues, all requiring extensive electronic knowledge in order to determine the most efficient plan of correction.
Candidates must be qualified to do the following:
- Provide quality technical support service
- Analyze and verify proper operation of elevator control panels
- Maintain and enhance excellent customer relations
- Communicate in simple, concise and accurate terms
- Must be a self-starter, organized and work well both independently and as part of a team
- Accurately and promptly document steps taken to resolve issues
Technical Support Requirements:
- Degree in Electronic or Industrial Mechanical Technology (AA Minimum)
- 3+ years experience in electro-mechanical/electric system, troubleshooting in a manufacturing or production environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have basic understanding of electrical principles
- Prepare payment schedules for large or slow paying accounts; confirm and negotiate payment plans or payment terms.
- Elevator industry experience will be very beneficial
Any and all additional tasks associated with Technical Support and support issue resolutions may be required. On call availability may be required in the position as well as some travel for on-site support.
